DAVAO CITY – The Joint AFP-PNP checkpoint operations in Toril yielded two drug-related arrests on Thursday, August 26.
At 2:30 pm, the Task Force Davao in coordination with Toril Police Station busted Rey V. Tulbanos Jr., 37, a resident of Blk 37, Lot 47, Rosalina Village, Bgy. Baliok, and David Kris S. Real, 39, a resident of Alpha Homes, 74-A, Matina for possessing an estimated P3,000 worth of suspected “shabu”.
The two suspects were on board a brown Nissan Navarra pick-up bearing plate # LAF 9978 when flagged down by the authorities.
Aside from the illegal drugs, the troops also confiscated a glass tooter, drug paraphernalia, and a Caliber 9mm pistol with serial number 320-58726.
Earlier, the troops arrested two young individuals possessing marijuana at the same checkpoint.
At exactly 1:10 pm, the Task Force Davao in coordination with Toril Police Station confiscated a gram of marijuana with an estimated value of P200 and drug paraphernalia from Mr. James Bryan Arias, 20, a resident of Lubogan Toril, and Mr. William A. Bacardo, 25, married, a resident of Lubogan Prk 3B, Toril, who was onboard a Honda Wave motorcycle bearing a plate # LA 59747
TF Davao and the DCPO discourages the public especially the youth in using illegal drugs as it can definitely ruin lives.
