Magpet, Cotabato – Quake victims from Barangays of Balabag and Ilomavis all of Kidapawan City received relief goods and medicines from Multi-Sector Advisory Action Group (MSAAG) on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
A total of 475 families of the aforementioned quake-hit barangays received food-packs and medicines from the MSAAG. The group was led by Mr Jeffrey Jess Mataro, Chairman of MSAAG and Captain Habunal, Governance Strategy Management Officer (GSMO) of the 10th Infantry Division, Philippine Army. During the activity, they were assisted by 1st. Lt. Dominic Fenis, Operations Officer of 72nd Infantry Battalion; while the Angel Without Wings and Oblates of St. Benedict also joined the distribution of relief goods.
The 72nd Infantry Battalion facilitated the delivery of the food packs and medicines in areas in Kidapwan, Magpet and parts of Roxas municiplaities affected by the quake. “Your Philippine Army troopers are dedicated to serve the people and hand in hand collaborates with different sectors of the society in bringing better services to the people,” Lt. Col. Rey Alvarado, Battalion Commander of 72IB said in his statement.
Multi Sectoral Advisory and Action Group is a body of civilian volunteers coming from the different sectors of our society, working hand in hand in formulating policies and regulation to help the Philippine Army achieve ATR or the Army Transformation Road towards the best and professional Army in 2028.
