February 24, 2020. The Philippine Army took to the House of Representatives its Information Caravan with the theme: “123 Years of Fortitude: Serving the People. Securing the Land“. The Information Caravan provided the HOR employees and bystanders information about the Philippine Army through static displays, and through soldiers in uniform who are deployed around the area to interact with interested observers.

As a yearly celebration during the Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Army, Information Caravans are held in public places wherein onlookers and bystanderscan take a glance and learn about the rich history of the Philippine Army, its achievements and how the Army envisions itself to be in the future.

The Info Caravan last year was held in BGC’s Amphitheatre graced by the presence of 2LT Matteo Guidicelli and several other performers who entertained the public walking on the busy streets of Bonifacio Global City’s High-Street.

It is the aim of the Philippine Army’s Info caravan to reach-out to people for them to personally see and experience the modern weapons, military capabilities and mobility assets such as tanks, trucks as well as emergency and rescue vehicles which soldiers use in accomplishing mandates to serve the people and secure the Filipinos’ homeland.

This year’s 123rd Philippine Army Anniversary is commemorated to remember the dynamic recollection of the past that shaped and directly influenced the new economic geography, regional development dynamics and landscape, defense policies, and developing the nation in general.
