In celebration of the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ 86th Anniversary, the Northern Luzon Command recognizes the support and contributions of their partner stakeholders during a brief program held at Cordillera Hall, Camp Aquino, Tarlac on Dec 21, 2021.
A simultaneous flag-raising ceremony took place among AFP camps all over the country.
Col Rosendo C Abad Jr., NOLCOM’s Chief of Unified Command Staff accorded the awards in place of Brig Gen Andrew D Costelo PA to the stakeholders from all over northern and central Luzon.
According to him, the command aims to recognize honored civilian entities and organizations for their commendable participation and immense support in the attainment of NOLCOM’s mission.
The awardees were; Hon. Eufemia D. Domingo, Municipal Mayor, Licab, Nueva Ecija; Mr Nestor Pascual R Pascual, Vocational School Administrator, Marcos, Ilocos Norte; Mr Raul Malazo Leonin, OIC- Provincial Agararian Reform Program Officer II (PARPO II); and organizations such as Latter-Day Saints Charities (LDSC), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) Baguio City, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority- Isabela.
“The command plaque signifies the outstanding contribution of our partners in pursuing our campaign for keeping the peace, security, and development within our area of responsibility,” Col. Abad added.
Brig.Gen. Costelo extends his grateful recognition to the stakeholders in continuing their culture-fit approach in intensifying their efforts in pursuing their mission of promoting peace and development in northern Luzon.
He said that “these individuals attest the resolute and committed drive of the Filipino people to end the reign of terror of Communist terrorists, and face challenges together as a united front.”
“With the collaborative efforts of our soldiers, government agencies, and stakeholders were able to accomplish massive gains in further ensuring the best interests of the Filipino people.” Brig. Gen. Costelo ended.
