Fort Ramon Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija – The organized CAFGU Active Auxiliary Wives Group “Samahan ng Ilaw ng Tahanan” was awarded its registration by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on June 29, 2020 at Barangay Dibaraybay, Dinalungan, Aurora. This was through the efforts of the 91st Infantry “Sinagtala” Battalion (91IB).
Ms. Nymfa S. Macario of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Dinalungan organized the Samahan ng Ilaw ng Tahanan on 2019 and had it registered on March 3, 2020.
“Hopefully this group will be sustained through our cooperation and partnership with DOLE and other NGAs. There are several other programs of the government that we need to explore through inter-agency operations,” said Colonel Andrew D. Costelo, as appreciated the collaborative efforts of the Army and LGU that benefited the CAFGU Active Auxiliary (CAA) and their beneficiaries.
Lieutenant Colonel Reandrew P. Rubio, the 91IB Commanding Officer, likewise stated, “We need to lift the morale of our troops, especially the CAAs who serve as force multipliers for the Army. Giving importance to their families, by giving their wives avenues for a sustainable livelihood to support their needs, we can be assured that CAAs will be more motivated to carry out their assigned tasks.”
