The Civil-Military Operations Regiment holds its first simple recognition rites for this year under Col Facundo O Palafox IV, the new Regiment Commander, 25 January. The Civil-Military Operations School, the premier military CMO educational institution under this regiment, has received two certificates of recognition from the Office of the Inspector General, PA for commendable performance having attained the highest Annual General Inspection rating of 91.08% (Superior) among the regiment’s subordinate units conducted on 29 May 2018. Two enlisted personnel received their Military Commendation Medals for their respective achievements. Likewise, the regiment’s Chief of Staff, Col George M Domingo was also recognized for his promotion to full-fledged Colonel. Meanwhile, the Manpack Loudspeaker Version 6 was blessed after the Holy Mass and birthday celebrators for the month were greeted. In his remarks, Col Palafox IV thanked his predecessors for this “one of a kind” tradition in celebrating and recognizing the officers and men of this unit for being exemplary in accomplishing their mission and urged them to always give their best in the performance of their duty. As a living tradition in CMOR, its personnel are recognized and awarded in appreciation for their great contributions toward the accomplishment of the unit’s mission.
