needs.

According to Col Licudine, “The indigent senior citizens already in the twilight of their lives deserve to be treated well especially that we have just celebrated Labor Day yesterday. It is just and right to serve them well as they were part also of the labor force during their days and have a big contribution to peace and development that we have now.

“As a professional organization, we support the Republic Act 9994 or the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010 that institutionalizes social protection to senior citizens. We thank DSWD for collaborating with us in this endeavor. Our efforts in maintaining security in the brigade AOR in Caraga region are not confined to combat operations alone. We have been consistent in looking for ways to collaborate with other partner
stakeholders and LGAs to uplift people’s lives such as the senior citizens as they face the challenges of the future. Rest assured that our stakeholders can rely on our commitment to foster partnership and attain a common goal for peaceful and conflict resilient communities”, Col Licudine added.
