Vinluan Jr., AFP turned-over the medical items intended for medical worker who are directly engaging persons under monitoring, investigation and will be positive to COVID-19, at Kuta Heneral Teodulfo Bautista Station Hospital on March 25, 2020.
Major General Vinluan supports to protect medical staff doing risky actions to prevent possible spread of corona virus disease. “In order for medical workers to deal with others, they should protect themselves first,” he said.
The medical items that were already distributed are 15 pieces of face mask (N95), 50 pieces goggles, 50 pairs shoes cover, 50 pieces surgical cap, 152 pairs surgical gloves, two pieces surgical mask, 100 pieces face mask, one gallon alcohol, 100 bottles vitamin C, four pieces thermal scanner gun, and five pieces of isolation gown.
Other medical items that are ready for distribution are 20 pieces of face mask (N95), 93 pieces goggles, 90 pairs shoes cover, 90 pieces surgical cap, 250 pairs surgical gloves, 100 pieces face mask, two gallons alcohol, 250 bottles vitamin C, one piece thermal scanner gun and 13 protective equipment.
The 11th Infantry Division will look forward to provide further necessities for the frontliners to address the confronted COVID-19 situation in coordination with the Integrated Provincial Health Office. Having 43 persons under investigation and 685 under monitoring within the Province of Sulu, as of March 24, 2020, the organization will do its utmost means to deal with the prevention and spread of COVID-19.
