BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur-Camp Jaime N Ferrer Sr, Brgy Maharlika, Bislig City (Stn) – The 75th Infantry (Marauder) Battalion offered a Thanksgiving Mass and Blessing of the new facilities at Headquarters, 75IB, Brgy Maharlika, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur on August 22, 2019, Thursday.
The mass was officiated by Rev. Father Ian Segura, Parish Priest and followed by the blessing of the newly constructed Motor pool
Bay, Enlisted Personnel Mess Hall, and to the newly repaired M365 and KM250 vehicles spearheaded by Lieutenant Colonel Jaime R Datuin, Commanding Officer of 75IB and participated by the officers and
enlisted personnel of this unit together with their dependents.
The newly constructed Motor pool bay and the restoration of the EP Mess Hall was a project of this unit initiated by the Commanding Officer of 75IB, Lt. Col. Datuin. With his mission to have an extra
parking garage that would set an additional facility useful for the unit and will provide more space and preserve the good condition of the mobility assets of this unit. Likewise, the restoration of the EP Mess
Hall is to provide a conducive ambiance during mealtime of the personnel and would be useful also to any activities the unit will be conducting in the later time. Moreover,of the personnel in this unit as they have seen the creative hands and the dedication of the
personnel in accomplishing the said project.
Thus, LTC Jaime Datuin said, “I extend my deepest gratitude to the personnel of 75IB for their dedication and hard work. No need
to strictly impose kung ano ang ‘yong gusto mangyari ng opisyal para sa ikakaganda ng unit mo. Their devotion to duty brought a
remark to this Battalion that leads to the accomplishment of the projects needed by this unit. A very job well done.” Datuin ended.
