Major General Rhoderick M Parayno AFP, Commander of the Philippine Armys 2nd Infantry Division lauded the latest accomplishments of the troops against the NPA Public Affairs Office, 2ID, PA Camp General Mateo Capinpin, Tanay, Rizal terrorists in Mindoro. The NPAs in Mindoro are slowly being dissipated. The choice really is up to the NPAs. But the communities are asking them to stop the violence against the people. They want peace and development, not violence and strife.
The government troops are continuing their ongoing pursuit operations against the NPA terrorists. SOCO police were already at the encounter site to investigate while checkpoints were also beefed-up in the area.
