Brgy Cabingan, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur (Station) –To address the medical needs of less fortunate pupils and IDP families of Brgy Boganga, Marawi City, the 12th Civil-Military Operations Battalion, CMORegiment, Philippine Army headed by Lt. Col. Andres A. Soriano in coordination with the Department of Education(Dep-ed) Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) headed by Division Supervisor Zenaida Sarip conducts Medical and Dental Mission and Psychological activity at Angoyao National High School Gym, Brgy Boganga, Marawi City, March 24, 2019.

The activity started with the registration of beneficiaries followed by checking of blood pressure, medical consultation, distribution of medicines/vitamins and also psychosocial intervention with gift giving from Hijab troopers.

A total ofof 1,879 individuals benefitted the said MEDCAP and psychosocial intervention wherein 560 of IDP families benefitted the medical consultation; 250 individuals for psychosocial activity; 155 individuals received arrozcaldo from feeding activity; 15 individuals benefitted the circumcision; 500 people received the medicines/vitamins; 65 people accommodated for sugar testing; 82 for blood typing; 44 inviduals for eye check-up; 57 individuals received free hair cut; 54 individuals availed free massage and 97 availed dental services. The IDP families were very thankful for the services rendered by the soldiers and partner stakeholders
.
The 12th CMO Battalion, CMOR, Philippine Army will continue its effort to serve and win the hearts and minds of the people and bring back their smiles and full support towards peace and free against terrorism and rebellion.
